The Marcher Apple Network tries to include details of all relevant events within the Marcher Counties and the more significant national events. Courses, however, are listed separately. If you are organising or know of a forthcoming event which you think should be included here then please contact the Webmaster. If you spot an error would you also please let the Webmaster know so a correction can be made.

Marcher Apple Network (MAN) courses
We plan to prune at Paramor and Ty Glyn during late June and early July. In March 2025 we ran an apple-tree grafting workshop. If you are interested in helping out or would like to receive training in orchard skills or other apple/pear/fruit-related areas, please contact secretary@marcherapple.net
Events
As regular readers will know, we normally publish an extensive list of all the major apple events happening each autumn across the Marches area. We know how much hard work goes into organising them, often by volunteers. These are important occasions when people get together, have the opportunity to see a whole range of apple varieties and, in some cases, bring along apples for ID. Volunteers from the Marcher Apple Network have attended these shows for many years, where we have spread the word about our work, made new friends, recruited members, raised income from sales and discovered some rare or unusual apple varieties that can now be found in our orchard museum collections.
